Summer. So many things come to mind when you hear this word: No school, heat, swimming, naps, family vacations, the lake, and so much more. When the word summer starts getting used here at Tulakogee it means that one of the busiest times is coming and we need to get prepared. Well, this summer was no different. The activity classes were prepared, the cabins were cleaned, grass mowed, and pool opened at the end of May. Then the fun began! Campers began to arrive in a steady stream that didn’t let up! It was exciting to see the faces of the first timers when they came to the first group assembly, and the eagerness to get going and be a part of things was easily read in their facial expressions. The returning campers were right there alongside them telling them all about the fun they would experience. Fun was had by all! But, the most exciting part came when a child made a decision for the Lord to change their lives for eternity! Overall we had 227+ decisions recorded, but those are only the ones that were recorded! How many more children went home with a changed heart we will only know in eternity, but seeds were planted this summer at Kids Mission Adventure Kamp (KAMK)! What an exciting time to be a part of! Here are a few pictures from this past summer for you to enjoy and get to help you get excited about next summer!
There were so many testimonies that we have heard this summer that it is hard to only pick a few to write about, but I will try. One of the summer staffs favorite testimonies from this summer takes place in two parts. There was a ladies group earlier this spring who were the first to use one of our new conference rooms at the new Adult Conference Center (ACC). One of the ladies who was a part of that group decided to give her life to the Lord! What a great blessing to see the building we have worked so hard on produce fruit on the first use! God is definitely good! But, it gets better. That same lady went home after being a part of Tulakogee and hearing about KMAK. She decided to send her children to KMAK this summer, and God worked in those children’s lives and they made the same decision that their mother did on her first visit to Tulakogee. They invited Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior while participating in KMAK! What an amazing journey God has brought that one family on! I can’t wait to hear more stories just like that. It’s awesome to see how God works in the life of one and in turn impacts so many more!
We are already making reservations for next summer! If you want to reserve your groups spot please contact the office.

Summer is here, which means campers are here!
Kids Mission Adventure Kamp (KMAK) is going great so far! Almost two weeks of KMAK have come and gone. This years theme is “Take it in, Live it out,” and the campers are really taking it to heart. Last week we had over 20 campers accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and that was Wednesday night alone! God is doing some amazing things in the lives of the campers that are here at Tulakogee this summer. Please continue to remember the campers, counselors, staff and volunteers in your prayers. Pray God continues to do amazing things!
One of the verses in the KMAK Bible study this week is Matthew 7:24-28 where Christ is teaching about the wise man who built his house upon the rock and the man who built his house upon the sand. With all the rain we had when the campers first arrived this seemed very appropriate! What a great visual the Lord had in store for the campers! Verse 25 says, “And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.” What a teachable moment we were given in nature!
Here are a few pictures from the past two weeks that might encourage you and remind you to pray for the rest of the summer as we minister to hundreds, if not thousands of people using our facilities! We are serving today to make a difference for eternity!
The sign up for the KMAK Activity Classes is now posted on the website.
Here is a quick link to the page that takes you directly to the sign-up process.
If you want to drag your mouse over the KMAK logo at the top of this page it will drop down some options, and the first option is the activity class page. If the link does not work after you click it try copying and then pasting it into your web browser bar and opening it that way.

Winter is coming to an end here at Tulakogee. We got an unexpected snow fall on the official first day of Spring the day after we had a 70 degree work day. What a transition! While the snow was beautiful we are excited about warm weather finally.
As many of you know, we are in the last few stages of finishing the W.C.H. Conference Center. We already have 30 of the hotel rooms finished (click here for pictures and info) and are working on the large conference space. We are really excited to see the hard work and long days paying off. The ceiling beams in the conference room have been hung, stained, and now have a beautiful finish on them. While we are still a ways to go in the finishing process we are excited to see many different groups come in and volunteer their time, efforts, and talents in helping us to reach our goal.
Tulakogee would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to these gracious and generous volunteer groups. Without these volunteers we wouldn’t be where we are today in reaching our goal.
Here is a visual reminder of the progress we are making…our strong and fearless leader might need some help holding this up!
Philippians 4:13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Winter at Tulakogee is beautiful. When you have the lake at your front door, deer eating off your front yard, and the gorgeous sunrise to wake you, it makes the day go by with a touch of God’s glory right in front of your face. The view on Christmas morning reminds me of a verse from Psalm 19:1 “The heavens proclaim the glory of God.The skies display his craftsmanship.”
I hope you enjoy the pictures from Christmas day that a few of our friends and family were able to capture. We look forward to seeing you in the new year! God Bless you and may your days be filled with God’s glory!
