Warren C. Hultgren Conference Center It is an exciting time in the life of the Conference Center.
We have had a number of volunteer groups helping on the Conference Center. The wing we
have just completed is 14,000 square feet and now the total
building is 52,000 square feet. We are seeking winter and spring volunteer groups to come and help further Gods Kingdom. Please call and see where your expertise can be utilized. November of 2005

We NEED you! Can you swing a hammer or use a welder? Can you push a broom or pick up wood? Can you use a drill or frame a room? If you answered yes to any of these or know how to do just about anything else, we need you at Tulakogee. We are in need of electricians, welders, plumbers, framers and those with a great volunteer spirit. "We have been given a Mandate to build it!" The time is now. For the past 25 years Tulsa Metro Baptists have talked about the Adult Ministry Center at Tulakogee. We have voted at least 5 times to build it. The time has now come, cement is down and the building is going up!
The Adult Conference Center will be built in two phases. The first phase, in which construction has begun, includes 42 hotel-type rooms accommodating one to six, each with a view of the lake. There will be four 1,500 square foot conference rooms and an additional 8,736 square foot multipurpose room with a lake view meeting, lounge and conference area with a kitchen for catering. There will also be two apartments, an office, utility rooms and laundry rooms. Phase two will consist of another 32 hotel-type rooms and two more 1500 square foot conference rooms. Phase two will be completed after a new lake side dining hall is built. |
