Rope course

The Challenge Course at Tulakogee is designed to build group unity. It is NOT a time or talent competition. Group members will be challenged to solve activity problems as a unit rather than individually. Encouragement, leadership, attitude, and sensitivity to the personalities of the group can result in a very positive experience. Participants have the opportunity to reinforce the value of each member of the body as having worth.

Safety: The challenge course is fun and can be experienced without injury IF leadership leads with responsibility. REMEMBER, IF A PERSON CAN FALL MAKE SURE THERE IS A SPOTTER THERE! Each activity description will have a safety note. Understand it, observe it, or ask for help before you do the element. Inform your group that the course is closed except for group use.

Variations: Theme or focus title for your retreat or camp can be creatively worked into an activity story. The story could focus scripture or concepts on each activity station. If a member of your group has physical limitations such as size, disability, or injury, help them participate as they can. Perhaps using the person as a team captain, an official encourage, or safety spotter. Include those who might be feeling left out.

Softball

Diamonds, bleachers, runners, catcher, pitchers & yelling fans help make the soft ball area fun and the place for a good game of ball.

Fishing dock

Fort Gibson Lake provides the fish and fun off our floating dock. Many groups or individuals have enjoyed the dock for hours of safe fishing or just sitting by the lake. Many groups walk down to the dock to see a beautiful Oklahoma sun rise or sun set.

Frisbee Golf

We now have a 12 hole Frisbee Golf course that runs around the loop of the camp.

Miniature Golf

We now have an 18 hole miniature golf course located by the Hanger.  It is made for all skill levels.  Each hole offers its' own set of challenges.  It is a great time for the hole group.
