Debbie is the Minister of Childhood Education at First Baptist Church of Tulsa where she started working in 1994. Debbie has been involved in childrens ministry since 1986 and loves sharing God’s love with children. Debbie married her high school sweetheart, Joe Thompson. The Thompsons have two sons, Jacob and Jerad, as well as two granddaughters. Jacob is married to Holly and the live in Tulsa with their two daughters. Jerad is married to Sierra who teaches in a local high school.
Pastor: Jeremy Freeman – FBC, Newcastle
Jeremy Freeman was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, but has called Oklahoma home since his college days at Oklahoma Baptist University. Jeremy was saved at 16 years of age and called to ministry at 17. He is married to Emily “McMains” from Seminole, Ok, and they have five children: Brittany, Caleb, Clayton, Trey, and Aubrey.
Jeremy began his ministry as the Senior Pastor of FBC Newcastle, OK on July 1, 2009. His main passion in ministry is to thoroughly study and preach the complete and perfect Word of God. His favorite Scripture verse is 2 Corinthians 4:18, which says, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary and what is unseen is eternal.”
