Director: Alyson Walker
Alyson is the Minister to Families with Preschoolers at South Tulsa Baptist Church . She has been on staff at South Tulsa since May, 2005. She received her Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served at churches in Texas, Georgia, Alabama, and Oklahoma. Alyson enjoys being a part of KMAK because children are given the opportunity to experience God’s leading in their lives. This could be through salvation, baptism, missions, rededication, or prayer for personal guidance.
Pastor: James Wilder – FBC Grove
James Wilder is the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Grove, where he has served for the last six years. The Tulsa native graduated from OBU in 1996 with a bachelors degree in departmental religion. He also has a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as pastor, interim pastor, minister of education, and minister to students at Southern Baptist churches in Texas and Oklahoma. James has filled several leadership roles with Northeastern Baptist Association. He is a board member of the Grand Lake Christian Medical Clinic, and serves as Chaplain, Captain for the Civil Air Patrol. James also serves on the Board of Trustees for OBU since 2007. James and his wife Deanna have two children, J. Shelton and Walker.
