Park in the Lot North of the Church and go into the Student Center. Once
you are in the Student Center go upstairs and that is where the meeting is at.

soccer, basketball, Frisbee golf, driving range, miniature golf, and much

Bible
studies, quiet time, church group devotions, meeting missionaries and learning
about missions, fellowship and play with other kids, nature, important character
traits, and new songs

Director: Naysa Carroll
Naysa
is married with two grown children. Her son, Michael, is married to
Judy and they live in Dallas. Her daughter, Sharon, is married to Scott
and they live in Jenks.
Naysa
has been the Children’s Minister at Arrow Heights Baptist Church in
Broken Arrow for 18 years. She says, “The best thing about my job is
talking to children about becoming a Christian and watching their
baptism.”

KMAK I Camp Pastor:
Wade Smith Wade is the pastor at First
Baptist Church Norman, Oklahoma. He earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Divinity Degree in
Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a
Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Religion, with an emphasis on Christian
Ethics at Baylor University. Wade has served churches as Minister to
Youth in Broken Arrow, Fort Worth and Waco. He began preaching at
Georgetown Baptist Church in Pottsboro, Texas in 2002. He is also
actively involved in leadership in the Baptist General Convention in
Texas, the Pottsboro Ministerial Alliance and others. He and his wife
Gay (an OSU graduate) have 4 children; Morgan, 12, 9-year-old twins
Jennifer and Alyssa, and Wilson, age 5.

Director: Debbie Thompson
Debbie is the Minister of
Childhood Education at First Baptist Church of Tulsa. She started there
in 1994. Debbie has been in children’s ministry since 1986.
Debbie married her high
school sweetheart, Joe Thompson and the two of them have been married
for 30 years. The Thompsons have two sons. Jacob is married to Holly
and lives in Tulsa. Debbie and Joe were blessed in 2004 with the birth
of their first grandchild, Isabella Rose. Their son Jerad is a law
student at the University of Tulsa.
Debbie loves sharing
God’s love with children. |

KMAK II Camp Pastor:
Deron Spoo
Deron has served First
Baptist Tulsa since May of 2000. Deron’s hobbies include hanging out at
Starbucks, a love-hate relationship with golf, and watching good sci-fi,
but what he enjoys most is being with his wife and three kids.
While
Deron’s day job is being a pastor, his greatest passion is learning to
follow Jesus Christ. The verse that sticks with him most is Psalm
31:14-15: I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My
times are in your hands. |

Director: Susan O'Dell
Susan O'Dell is
the Preschool and Children's Director at Living Oaks Baptist Church.
She considers herself blessed to have been working in Children's and
Preschool Ministries for 20 years. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State
University with a bachelor's degree in Education. Susan has been
married to her husband, James, for twenty years. They have two
children, Jacy and Kirk.
An
overriding goal for Susan is to grow each child's understanding of God,
so that they accept Christ as Savior at the time the Holy Spirit leads
them. |

KMAK III Camp Pastor: Noah Wickham
Noah is married to Trina and
is expecting a baby boy in March. Currently he is serving as Children’s
Pastor at FBC Claremore. He has a degree from Oklahoma Baptist
University in Applied Ministry with an Emphasis in Children’s Ministry.
He has also recently completed a Masters Degree from Southwestern
Theological Seminary in Christian Education with a concentration in
Family Counseling. His favorite passage of scripture is Deuteronomy
6:4-9. |

Director: Debra Stephens
Debra is
the Director of Preschool and Children's Ministries at Central Baptist in
Owasso and is married to Clay, her high school
sweetheart. They have four children: Kenton, Sydney, Natalie and
Garrett.
Debra accepted Christ as
a third grader at a meeting of the “Good News Club”
after school. She realized that she was a sinner and the Christ had paid
the ultimate price for her forgiveness and eternal life.
She
enjoys working with preschoolers and children (They laugh at her jokes!)
and letting them know that God has a plan for their lives! |

KMAK IV Camp Pastor: Scott Carlson
Scott Carlson has been Pastor of Central Baptist
Owasso since May of 2006. He calls his wife his “righteous fox” and
they have been married since 1985. They have three awesome kids, Alaina
- 20, Nathan -19, and Rachel – 17. Pastor Scott returns to KMAC for his
second year in a row as camp pastor. Last year he revealed to the kids
that he is part Cherokee and together with the students they made it
rain in the sanctuary. Of course it rained all week outside the
sanctuary as well. This year they will do an Indian Dance to keep the
rain away for that week of camp. Pastor Scott loves kids because he
understands that it takes being a kid to really know Jesus. His
favorite Movies are Rocky I, II, III, IV, V, and VI. He looks forward
to Rocky VII, VIII, and IX.

Director: Connie Faurot
Connie has been Minister to
Families with Children for 14 years at South Tulsa Baptist Church.
Previously to that she was a teacher for 23 years.
She is married to Dick who is a meteorologist at KOTV in Tulsa. They
have two children. Rachelle is a RN and works in surgery in San Antonio.
Rachelle is the mother of their only grandchild, Taylor. Kevin lives in
Broken Arrow and works for Cobra Manufacturing in Bixby. |

KMAK V Camp Pastor: Michael Staton
Michael has served as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Mustang
since November 2003. He graduated from the University of Central
Oklahoma
and then completed his master's degree at
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His preaching ministry is
marked by an unwavering commitment to the authority of the Bible. His
desire through his preaching is that people will come to love the Lord
and glorify Him by treasuring Him above all things.
Michael is
married to Marcy, who is actively involved in leading our church's
Women's Ministry and also is active in our Music Ministry. They have two
boys, Cael and Benjamin. Michael's hobbies include spending time with
his family, playing golf, reading and enjoying O.U. athletics.

Alyson is the Minister to

been on staff at South Tulsa since May, 2005. She received her masters
degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in
churches in Texas, Georgia, Alabama and Oklahoma.

James is the pastor at First
Baptist Church Grove, Oklahoma. He
accepted Jesus
Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was six years old. He
is woking on his Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary. He is married to Deanna L. Walker and they have two sons
James Shelton and Walker.
