Week I: June 11-14, 2018
Director: Debbie Thompson
Debbie currently serves as the Minister of Childhood Education at First Baptist Church Tulsa. She has faithfully served the families there for over 17 years, and loves working with families and their children. Debbie has also been the Chairmen of the Tulakogee Childrens Comittee for over 17+ years. She has been an intregal part of KMAK ever since it’s conception. KMAK wouldn’t be what it is today without Debbie’s hard work and persistance. Background: Third generation Sandite! Family: Married to Joe and they have two sons, who are both married to wonderful ladies. They are also the proud grandparents of two gorgeous little ladies, Isabella and Hope. Favorite Movie: A few favorites are “Steel Magnolias” and “The Holiday” Favorite TV Shows: Debbie also enjoys watching “CSI Las Vegas,” “NCIS,” and “The Big Bang Theory” .
Week II: June 18-21, 2018
Directors: Naysa Carroll
Naysa has been part of the children’s ministry at Arrow Heights since 1984, first as a Preschool teacher, then as the W.E.E. Director, then Preschool Minister and finally as the Minister of Childhood Education. She has been a KMAK Director for over 15+ years. She is an integral part in getting things ready for KMAK and is a fantastic KMAK director. Background: Born and raised in Tulsa, OK. Family:Married to Steve for 40 years. She two grown children and most important three grandchildren. Michael (married to Judy), and Sharon (married to Scott). Favorite Movie: Secret Garden Favorite Book: Tuesday’s With Morrie Favorite Foods: Mexican, and ice cream Favorite Pastimes: Reading, swimming, and collecting dishes
Week IV: July 23-26, 2018
Director: Debbie Barrett
Debbie is Director of Children’s Ministries & Mother’s Day Out at First Baptist Church Inola, OK. Debbie and her husband Randy have four children, Jake, Josh, Jackie and Jedd. During a mission trip while in college Debbie sensed God calling her into Children’s Ministry. Besides FBC Inola Debbie has served two other churches in OK as Children’s Minister. Debbie’s personal goal is to guide children from the first grade until they enter 7th grade to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Debbie encourages, loves and guides children at her home church as well as KMAK.
