We have many positions available!
We need to fill many positions in order to fully run a summer of camps, retreats, and other groups that make Tulakogee their summer stop.
We are hiring for: (All positions may be needed to be flexible and help where needed)
- Lifeguards/outside crew
- Foodservice crew
- Housekeeping
- Outside crew/groundskeeping
Included in a job at Tulakogee are some fun amenities such as:

Here is a little information on the job descriptions that we are hiring for summer:
Now Hiring Paid Summer Staff Positions
Tulakogee Conference Center, Wagoner, Ok
1. Lifeguard/other duties as assigned. (we need 4/5 lifeguards)
- Duties (guarding the pool/lake area, etc.)
- Providing rescue/first aid if necessary at the pool/lake
- Life Guarding or supervising waterfront, pool, paddleboats, etc.
- Deep cleaning the pool, and pool facilities
- Being able to respond to supervisors needs
- Providing supervision of camp general use areas
- Assist camp personnel in “turning over” the camp. (Picking up trash, cleaning cabins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming/sweeping cabins, etc.)
- Being flexible in areas where we need extra assistance.
Dishwasher/Kitchen crew (We need 2)
- Duties am-pm shifts (assist permanent food services personnel, washing dishes)
- Using the commercial grade dishwasher to clean dishes
- Put away the dishes
- Keeping the dish-pit clean, Mopping as needed
- Taking out kitchen trash, keeping trash areas clean
- Filling ice machines
- Other duties as needed
Outside Crew (we need 3-4)
- Keeping the grounds nice (weed eating, mowing, trash pick up, etc)
- Being able to respond to supervisors needs
- Providing supervision of camp general use areas
- Assist camp personnel in “turning over” the camp. (Picking up trash, cleaning cabins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming/sweeping cabins, etc.)
- Being flexible in areas where we need extra assistance.
- Manning/supervising the various activities associated with camp classes
4. Kitchen Crew (We need 
- Duties am-pm shifts (Assisting permanent food services personnel)
- Prep of food (salad prep, racking of trays, baking, slicing, dicing, ect.)
- Label leftovers, service the serving line
- Stock the silverware, plates etc.
- Service and clean up drink area, kitchen, dining room etc. (mop up spills etc.)
- Assist camp personnel in “turning over” the camp (Picking up trash, cleaning cabins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming/sweeping cabins, etc.)
- Other duties as needed
5. Housekeeping (We need 1, with a possible full time during fall)
- Duties (Cleaning and sanitation of cabins and facilities)
- Cleaning cabins after use
- Daily cleaning and checking of bathroom facilities during camp use
- Taking out trash in cabins
- Stocking the paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.)
- Assist camp personnel in “turning over” the camp (Picking up trash, cleaning cabins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming/sweeping cabins, etc.)
- Other duties as needed
6. Snack Shack Operator (We need 1)
- Duties (Running the snack shack and managing volunteers that serve)
- Providing campers with smoothies, candy, drinks, etc.
- Managing the use of the cash register
- Cleaning and sanitation of the snack shack and line up on a daily/weekly basis
- Inventory of new products and keeping the snack shack stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist camp personnel in “turning over” the camp (Picking up trash, cleaning cabins, cleaning toilets, vacuuming/sweeping cabins, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
